girldeath is the current recording project for naomi patrick, who is a drone and ambient artist living in glasgow. the girldeath project debuted on april 12th, 2024 on KAVARI’s ‘Cult Tape 001 - Selected Noise Works’.

previously, naomi worked under the ‘forest people' project, releasing 28 albums, 11 EP’s, and multiple singles between june 2016 & october 2024, with all proceeds from released works & streaming going to SAMH (scottish association for mental health), MERMAIDS & Tiny Changes. forest people played multiple shows at the 13th note & ushi’s, with the final show being performed at ushi’s, 21/07/24.

naomi also runs and is the founder of the label ‘stay home records’ since 2016.

when performing live, naomi performs with two sp404’s, routed through a mk1 Kaoss pad & mixing deck.
